Gannon & Scottie lied about the passes, they ain't so easy to come

<snip>

Never mind that the White House day passes that we have in our scrapbook don't have anybody's picture and name on them.

Yes, we have been through the process for obtaining White House day passes.

And let us just say that it is not at all an easy process to get through.

Needless to say that it is difficult to think that it could have been done using a fake name - the Secret Service needs your real name so it can do a background check on you before letting you inside the gate.

Several phone calls placed over the course of a two-week period were needed to get us inside.

And that was for a one-shot deal.

To think that Gannon or Guckert or whatever we should call him now did this on a regular basis makes us wonder when he had time to do any writing.

1. Excellent!
I sent a letter of thanks:

Bravo!

The People have been subjected to a controlled media for four years now. This administration, much like Nixon's, has a strong need for secrecy. It controls the media by rewarding those who act as cheerleaders for its dirty business and punishing those who tell it like it is by ignoring them.

News that exposes this administration is labelled "conspiracy theories" to minimize & discredit those who have the integrity to speak out against the corruption. The "Gannon" story, along with the revelations of bribery of three other media figures, are factual & cannot be disputed by the White House.

We have an opportunity here to get our media back. This administration's penchant for controlling the media & for controlling public opinion with untrue propaganda needed to be exposed, and I hope the media will continue to investigate this story. I believe there is much more to the relationship between "Gannon" & the White House.

The facts are coming out that "Gannon" has ties to this administration's dirty work, including the CBS memo scandal & Tom Daschle's removal. I found it interesting that one of his "questions" of Scott McClellan during one WH press briefing was in regard to "an angry mob surrounding Karl Rove's house", taking valuable time away from legitimate journalists to question White House policy. Why should the People need to know about Karl Rove's unpleasant weekend?

Thank you for an excellent editorial & for explaining the difficult process of obtaining WH day passes. This administration has been playing the "Gaslight" routine for four years & it's time for them to be held accountable for its lies & deception.
