I am finally getting the feeling the Gannon story is not going away.
At first I thought it would die a quick death but it seems Pandora's box has been opened and now the news media and the people want to get to the bottom of this. The only question is: How interesting will this get?

1. One can only hope that this will do considerable damage.
And that this isn't a cover for another invasion.

2. Last nights' Bill Maher program , he said
It is amazing how Repugs can make something of nothing and Democrats can make nothing of something...
Joe BIden was on the program..Said Democrats on Senate Judicary are powerless to force a Senate investigation...It is the chairman's call..That is Orin Hatch...We should be dogging the hell out of Hatch and demanding Senate Judicary Members demand an investigation..Make a little noise over this.

4. Congress is not the only one that can investigate this creep
Did he pay state and/or federal taxes on the income he made from his escort services? In which state or states did he perform his duties and operate his other business?

We need folks with courage to start looking at this pawn.

6. Officiers below the president are subject to the law.

Lawsuits against office holders can bring down those above...But you should have a federal investigator...Why do you think the Repugs changed the law after Ken Starr did his dirty work..Is not that what happened during Watergate...
Lawsuits/stories kept hammering Dick Nixon...Is that maybe a part of the reason, Dubya signed the class lawsuit legislation a couple days ago that lots of Democrats supported..?

10. Biden made one of the most powerful statements when he
said that. We should be screaming to return "checks and balances" to our system. It will not work with the executive and legislative branches, and soon the judicial controlled by one party.

3. Well... KO hit it pretty damn hard last night... what a funny guy....
I'm sure if Keith is hammering away on it, it won't be long before a few others notice that it isn't a "non-story".

Someone needs to photoshop the pic of Nixon getting on the helicopter with someone else's head .... if it hasn't been done already.

7. Gannon, Plame, Anthrax deaths, WMD, Armstrong Williams,
Maggie Gallagher, Kathryn Harris' scrubbing the FL voter registration rolls...how much more? The MSM gets tired of this stuff. They squeeze the juice for a few days and then move on. Cold case file time. Anyone wondering who our domestic terrorist is who murdered Americans with anthrax? Or how columnists got paid to flog Bushian policy? And what about the taxpayer funded infomercials sent to tV stations to be played as "news" reports?
And outing a CIA agent is treason. Novak said his source was from the White House.
Face it. We're the only ones who care. The media is a business. We're Americans who want our country to stand for truth and justice. The media wants ratings. That's all. Money.
Quit relying on the media. they're not motivated.
We have to be.

11. Ah, but the sexual part of the story. They all go for that. It
means ratings.

12. Yes, you're right. And if Gannon's boyfriend
proves to be a White House insider who got Gannon his incredible access, this story will even be featured, 24-7, on Faux. They won't be able to resist.

13. Yep
Bill Maher said it should be obvious that (Jimmy-Jeff) had a boyfriend in the WH that was feeding him stories. Why isn't anybody investigating??

14. If there was/is a boyfriend
we'll know. Gannon can't shut up. He said he wouldn't talk...then he blabbered on, twice, to CNN. This guy seems like a real hound. He wants to hear his voice and see his photo splashed everywhere. He'll get a publisher and write a book. His first real writing job! I mean, I saw Amber Whoever's, the girlfriend to the guy who killed his pregnant wife, book at Kroger. Now, if she can "write" a book about her sad little affair with a murderer, then Gannon ought to get a juicy contract for his insider Tales of the White House.
He probably has photos, too.
Fasten your seat belts. It's going to be a bumpy couple of months.

8. It does have the "lurid" elements
Now that the story has started to break into the mainstream, I think people are going to be demanding to see it followed.
