My local Gannett newspaper won't touch the Gannon story.
there has not been a whiff of the Gannon bruhaha in my local paper. Anyone else????? As Joe Biden said on Bill Maher last night 'IT'S THE MEDIA' when asked why this story wasn't everywhere.

1. No stories about it in the paper here, but
there was an editorial about it today. Which makes no sense. Why in the world would you write an editorial about a subject you haven't reported on?

3. It was front page news here Wednesday.

Our newspaper is independent and locally-owned and not part of a chain, however, so that may be why it appeared.

5. Maureen Dawd's editorial was printed yesterday
They changed the title, but the fact that it made it so quickly to the editorial page amazed me. This is a small town Copley newspaper that is quite conservative.

6. The story is everywhere
Just not in the cWHOREporate media machine.
However, it's on the lips of whisperers at office water coolers, it's in everyone's e-mail box and it's probably one of the top Google searches for the week.

We ARE the media!
