Another Co-Worker Trouble...
Edited on Mon Feb-14-05 02:08 AM by Dangerman
When I was at work today, one of my co-workers ask me if I watch the President today, I said no, then he said "HE'S A GOOD PRESIDENT, HIS BROTHER WILL BE PRESIDENT IN THE NEXT FOR YEARS" :wtf:
I was angry at that statement I almost blew my top at work, but I calmed down so I can spotlight this jerk here at DU. By the way, this guy's name is Pat.

1. Maybe you should have asked him how he knows what will happen in 08
Something like "Really? Are the votes already counted on that one, too?"

2. If Jeb gets it then I leave the country.
I can't imagine that I would ever say such a thing, but a third Bush presidency would be enough to convince me that we have a hereditary monarchy in the US and a nation full of cult-like worshipers. That would be it for me. I would declare myself a Bush Refugee and apply for political asylum in Canada. Let's hope it never comes to that.

3. he's just messing with you - shrug it off.
I have those types in work too.
You could praise him (jeb) - at least he didn't lie about his military background or drugs (although there was this one time in Thailand).

4. Dangerman, This will make you feel a whole lot better.
Some body did a semi-reputable poll on 2008 presidential candidates.

Jeb and Arnold were in the mix. The question was, "Do you want <insert name of Insane Clown Possee Member here> to run for Preznit?"

---------------Would-----Would Not-----Unsure

Florida Governor Jeb Bush
ALL voter--------15----------66----------19
Republicans------28----------49----------23

Arnold Schwarzenegger

ALL voters-------22----------66----------12
Republicans------30----------57----------13

This poll kicks. Californians (I'm an ex) are one thing. The rest of the country is disgusted at guys who grope women, take steroids, and prance around in bikini underwear with grease all over them. That simple. Floridians may tolerate Jeb but the rest of the country really can't stand the thought of another Bush.

When Pat or any other dip wad aproaches you with this stuff, just think of your favorite John Steward Show Moment of Zen. No need to worry about these clowns.
