Anti gay marriage amendment opposed in MA poll

Keep in mind, Eagle Tribune Publishing is a pretty conservative news source, and they sponsored a new poll that says 52% oppose making gay marriage a ballot issue.

It is a long time before the question can appear on the 2006 ballot, ant then only after(if?) the legislature approves it for a second time, during the current session. By that time, gay marriage will have been a reality for 2 1/2 years. Massachusetts is still here, America! We still function as a Commonwealth! We have not fallen into the fires of Hell! WAKE UP, AMERICA!!!!

It looks like the anti-gay amendment was going to fail in Michigan right up until the election.
