Jon was the only media personality who consistently questioned Dubya. I realize using humor makes it more palatable to the teeming masses, but it's very effective.

Thank you, Jon, Al Franken, Natalie Maines, Sheryl Crow, EVERYBODY who stood up to this nonsense when the whole country was ready to rename that little country in Europe "Freedom".

Let's keep the heat on the usurper regime!

against *, but he has amazing luck. Remember one of the mantras in the Clinton years (used by the media) about how lucky Clinton was with the enemies he had? GW has him beat by a mile in that department-who wouldn't look decent and moral and righteous "fighting" against OBL and Saddam? They're his best friends and weapons (whether they're caught or not). To get back on topic however, yes, a HUGE thank you to all the brave people you mentioned who have spoken truth to power.

None of the accusations against Clinton were based on the truth (Mena airport smuggling, the Vince Foster murder, and so on ad nauseam). Virtually every allegation against President Stupidhead has been tracked down to a fare thee well. We just haven't gotten anyone to notice. Until now.

I saw him on Moyers last night.......

I am in L-O-V-E!

I don't have cable.....so the only Daily Show I get is when a regular network plays a clip. And Moyers played quite a few clips. Had me ROLLING on the floor, esp with the far-flung news correspondent in Iraq...and of course the classic debate between gov and pres bush. Hilarious.

But really.....if I could find a guy like Jon Stewart, I would make him a *very* happy man!!! Oh yeah!

I think she brings her work home & they have lots of pets, because he's done great celebrity interviews on Daily Show where they talk about nothing but their pets, and almost forget to plug the movie per the script.
