DU McDonald's for circumventing Oregon's Min Wage Law!
Send letters to Franchise Owner Lee Adams and President and COO, McDonalds Corp. Mike Roberts via this site:

http://www.unionvoice.org/campaign/Stop_Mcdonalds

Right now a total of 5 McDonald's restaurants in Oregon and southeastern Washington are outsourcing their drive-up window order-taking to a call center 1,300 miles away, in Grand Forks, N.D. There the minimum wage is $5.15 an hour, compared with Oregon's $7.25. If successful, a total of 50 McDonald's are expected to be on line within a few months.

Support Oregon for raising it's minimum wage and don't allow McDonald's to cheat the state.

1. Oregan and Washington should kick them out of thier states...
if you don't want to follow the law where your doing business, don't do the business at all. Revoke the business license for the franchisee, and then tell McDonald's to get the fuck out of those states!

4. I agree, they should. With lots of pressure, they would.
People should head down to the capitols with anti-McDonald's signs and call for boycotts.

The last thing that company wants is a tarnished image. I bet they'd stop the nonsense very quickly.

of McDonald's restaurants in those states. The AG of the states in question can revoke McDonald's privelege of doing business in those states. Revoke the business licenses of the franchisees and sieze of the assets of the company in those states. Hell its killing two birds with one stone, they can probably solve much of their budget problems doing that, and they get rid of an unethical company in the process, sounds like a plan. I'm sick and tired of these fucking corporations running roughshod over our public laws and our public trust, they violate it, institute the "Death Penalty" for them, I'm sick of this shit!

6. I know our state attorney general Mike Hatch would do that.
He'd love it as a matter of fact. :-)

3. Interesting, it's cheaper to have a 24 hour a day phone call to ND
than to pay a guy an extra 2 bucks to sit at a window.

7. But, but, but wee need to outsource!
Otherwise, we'd have to raise the price of a Big Mac from a super-cheap $2.85 to an exorbitant $3.05! We'd go out of business!!!!!!!!

9. Hello This is Sanji Can I Take Your Order?
This is what it's coming to. Not to be too offensive to my fellow brown people, but come on. How long until McDonald's has the orders being taken from Mumbai? Bet that would be cheaper than even North Dakota.

10. I'm boycotting them because they support the GOP
It's obviously so that they can get the GOP to keep the minimum wage down so I don't buy from them.
