"The Right-wing Noise Machine" specifically, and i'm utterly surprised to learn that many of the founding neo-cons are actually ex-commies, and about the only thing they took away from the Communist Party was a knack for propaganda.

I can't wait til the next time some freeper calls me a commie socialist. I'm so gonna throw it back in their faces.

1. That's because Fascists make more money than Commies.
It's got nothing to do with philosophy - it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

2. I attended a book signing by Brock
last week at George Washington University. He was pushing Media Matters new book "Misstating the State of the Union." I was very impressed with his talk and the Q&A afterwords. Also got my book signed. :)

5. Blinded by the Right will piss you off
like no other book could. That book is THE reason I got involved in politics. See your doctor and get some blood pressure pills before you read it. You'll need them. ;) It's a GREAT book!

9. I hear ya!
I felt like a FOOL after reading that book. I can honestly say I had NO IDEA the repuke party was as evil as it is. I was ashamed that I was so clueless to what they had done and how they operate. When I learned that Brit Hume, Ann Coulter, Ted Olson, Barbara Olson, Kelly Kirkatrick, Christopher Hitchens (a drunk who likes to beat his wife/girlfriend), Richard Melon Scaife, Bill Kristol and many others I had seen on TV or heard of were involved behind the scenes......:grr::grr: It's truly a jaw dropping book. I HAD to get involved. They have to be stopped. Brit Hume was a real eye opener. A Journalist working with the repuke party...:grr:

The party that Coulter threw when she got her hands on the Tripp tapes ROYALLY pissed me off. I knew she was evil, but I had no clue what she was doing behind the scenes. None.

AND Drudge hitting on Davis Brock....:7. Hehe.

Those people are slime.

11. Hmmm, cute?
Hard for me to judge cuteness in a man. Yeah, he looks good. He looks like a young banker or lawyer, clean shaven and far too respectable-looking to be a liberal!

BTW, Blinded by the Right is a great book. Be careful of your blood pressure though. I'd have it monitored at least hourly while reading it. I'm going to reread it soon just to keep me motivated.

7. Every progressive/leftie should be educated about this
http://www.oldamericancentury.org/pnac.htm

Everything you would want to know about the neoconservatives and Project for a New American Century. This IS the Bush administration's Bible - the Bush Doctrine - and will explain everything you want to know!

Until very recently (with the Coronation speach and now the SOTU speech) most people I spoke with about the Bush Doctrine and the neoconservative ideaology of perpetual war didn't believe me. Now they're taking another look.
