FBI,CIA and the pResident...

Since * is the pResident, the commander in chief...doesn't the FBI and the CIA fall under his authority...?

What I'm asking is...is he in charge of both of those agencies or do they fall under their own juristiction...?

I never really thought about it...?

1. Both are Executive Dept

The FBI reports to A$$croft so they are a direct reporting agency. The CIA is considered an Independant agency like the Post Office or NASA even though the Prez makes the appointments.
