N.Y. HIRED MAID'S SON AS ATHLETIC SUPPORTER

February 3, 2005 -- ALBANY — The Pataki administration has given the son of Libby Pataki's GOP-funded personal house servant a state job, officials confirmed yesterday.

Adam Larsen, 26, works as an "athletic activities assistant" for the state Athletic Commission, which regulates boxing — and has had a reputation as a patronage mill.

The Athletic Commission is controlled by Gov. Pataki's appointees.

Larsen, who was hired in December 2003, is paid $41,800 a year at the New York City-based commission, records show.
