...they felt that the family that was at the SOTU was being used and even though they weren't there, they are being used by Bush too and they know now what the score is.

that doesn't advance either his, or the Republican party's, interest. Why do we (some of us, anyway) keep hoping the Repukes will fall all over themselves to get thrown out of office? Is this realistic? Why do we expect them to co-operate with us? Are we going to co-operate with them?
