Can we go over what Bush has done with Iraq...
Right now, every RW pundit, and many in the MSM, are kissing his ass for a job well done. He apparently is the symbol of freedom for the US and Iraq.

Let's go over the reasons again...

1) War On Terror - No Terrorists!!
2) WMD - No WMD!!
3) Denied Access to Inspectors - False!!
4) Regime Change - More like Pro-Bush regime change and not a valid reason for war.
5) Saddam Hussein is Evil - Not a valid reason for war.
6) Curry Favor with the Middle East - No comment!!
7) Set an Example for Nations that Sponsor Terrorism - Again, No Terrorists or proof of it.
8) Liberate Iraqis - by killing off many of them and forcing a new government on them by gunpoint.
9) Iraq's Broken Promises - What!!!!
10) Revenge - Now we are getting somewhere...
11) Threat To the Region - Who, Bush or Saddam?
12) Unfinished Business - Didn't kill off enough 'Towel heads', I mean Iraqi's the first time.
13) Disarmament - No WMD's, therefore no arms... certainly not enough to justify this kind of war.
14) Imminent Threat - to WHO???
15) Preserve Peace - If that's peace, then no thanks.
16) Threat To Freedom - Again, threat to who?
17) Link to al Qaeda - Sadly, still many in America believe this...

This election is BS, and the last excuse for Bush. He's using it to get out of this mess, and it might just work for him.

In total, there are at least 100,000 Iraqis, Americans, and allies that have been killed or injured in this war. But that's all forgiven because Bush gave the Iraqi's "freedom".

What a sad day for America!!!! :(

2. I like this take on the joke election
http://www.juancole.com/2005/01/mixed-story-im-just-appalled-by.html

James Zogby on Wolf Blitzer wisely warned the US public against another "Mission Accomplished" moment. Things may gradually get better, but this flawed "election" isn't a Mardi Gras for Americans and they'll regret it if that is the way they treat it.

3. One more from TomPaine.com
http://tompaine.com/archives/the_dreyfuss_report.php

The Post quotes James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute and a poll analyst with Zogby International, to wit:

He compared Iraq’s election to the 1860 U.S. election, which paved the way for the Civil War after Abraham Lincoln won—and South Carolina seceded. “This election could exacerbate the divide,” Zogby said. “You can’t have 20 percent of the population feel disenfranchised.”
