Don't dare call it a waste.

At the mere suggestion that his son's passing might be for naught, Francis' heartbroken father, Cyril, did something extraordinary. He looked up from his tears. And he laughed. "Not at all," he said with a smile.

"He died for freedom," Francis' uncle, Kingsley Obaji, told me unwaveringly.

........I'm sure it must be extremely difficult to admit that one's own son or daughter died in vain, I'm sure the mind would do anything to prevent that thought, having raised three fine children myself. Yet..............

10. sorry, he died so the cartel could own iraq for 40 years
litteraly-contrary to international law bush invaded and has set it up so that economic control is ultimately not Iraq's. It is the provisional authority rules that have been extended through Alawi(sp?). Apparently if you invade a country you can fix the infrastructure but you are not allowed to steal everything. Freedom is on the march, not

2. I hope he doesn't have any more kids...
to sacrifice for 'freedom'. I feel for the guy, but really, this kind of denial from too many people is why we are in the mess we are. Unfortunately, some of us who see the truth are going to be asked to sacrifice OUR kids for this or some other godforsaken LIE, and I don't appreciate that. Wake the fuck up!!!

4. I'm going to make..
.... a special exception for those who have lost loved ones in this "war". They need any comfort they can get, and if believing we are being successful helps them with their pain, let them believe it.

They and their sons/daughters have made the ultimate sacrifice and they deserve the ultimate respect IMHO.

6. Nor do I...
... but i recognize the power of denial to protect ones self from a total breakdown. Like all of the stage of grief, it has a purpose.

7. Perhaps someday
in the distant future, on the planet of the Apes, they will pay homage to the first "simian" President, GWB.
