U/Michigan Professor Juan Cole on Washington Journal (CSPAN)
The U of Michigan professor of Middle East history was articulate and scathing toward Israel's Likud (?) Party (called them Fascists) and the PNACers (said they aligned with Likud. He systematically endorsed most of what is said here on DU. He was a most welcome voice on the mismanagement of Middle East policy.

2. Ah..., I love the sound of reason in the morning.
Cole was articulate, concise and had facts and figures to support his assertions. He is a middle east expert and he was not hopeful for this war and I got the impression he thinks this whole administration has their heads up their ass. I didn't even hear too many dissenters disagreeing with him on the repuke line. Surely C-Span will re-run or you can catch it on their web site.

3. I agree...
Dr. Cole was worth hearing. He was quick with facts and looked the audience right in the eye. I enjoyed hearing his opinion about the Bush* administration avoiding anyone with any information on Iraq before the war.
