Is it just me or
is the US practically forcing Iran to surreptitiously help the Iraqi resistance? The more trouble the US gets there, the less likely it is to have a good shot at Iran.

Frankly, the Iranians are idiots if they don't do just that. It's just self-preservation. Just like the nukes they seem to want.

1. In the petition signatures

Alot of the people who signed are in the Iranian democracy movement. You'd almost think that these are the people the US wants to hurt in Iran. They have been fighting for reform since the 80s and have started to win concessions but if the US attacks they will be seen as US puppets and Iran will pull even closer to the Mullas.
