'Pickles' New Years resolution...anyone?
Not that I watch 'The View' but my channel changer was stuck and I heard Barbara Walters talk about her interviewing techniques and asking hard questions when one of her panel ladies informed us that that Laura Bush has a new 'cause' for 2005 and that is....'taking care of the boys of America, afterall girls have been getting all the breaks! We need to get more boys into college because girls now outnumber them in higher education!'

Does anyone know where I could find this story for documentation...I'd love to keep that one in my archives!

1. That's a great cause
I'm so glad we live in a Utopia of egalitarianism.

3. She surely has a lot of experience
Surely. More of a psychological slip of the tongue Laura...since her main job and cause is taking care of the biggest boy of them all...the one she sleeps with in the White House (eww..)

4. Here you go...
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2005-01-13-laura-bush_x.htm

Although she's the mother of two girls, 23-year-old twins Barbara and Jenna, Bush believes that teenage boys need special attention and mentoring to keep them out of trouble and get them into college.

"I think we still have this stereotype that boys can take care of themselves and that boys don't cry and that boys don't need special nurturing," she says.

She plans to travel around the country to highlight programs for boys.
