5. I don't own a car but
I am saving my "Kerry/Edwards" and "Another Christian For Kerry" stickers as parts of history. I hung up my "John Kerry Is A Rockstar" t-shirt in my room under my dad's "Mondale/Ferraro" poster and my pink triangle "Gore/Liberman" sticker as a sort of homage to the Democratic Party.
WE SHALL RISE AGAIN!

That sticker turned me into a hard-core DEM. The level of offensiveness was off the charts!

14. elshiva, I went to see Geraldine Ferraro in Madison, love her.
Was my first really active political gathering outside of being "gassed" during the Vietnam war in Madison Wisconsin. I lived in La Crosse at the time and the drive was only 2.5 hours away. I took vacation that day, I knew I was in for being a part of history. They didn't win, but I am sure that is where my heart turned to the leftist side of democracy.

will we ever know why? was it a skull and bones sellout or did Shrub threaten his family? or was this the plan all along, and why the media whores trashed Dean and made Kucinich into a dating game joke, and told us only kerry could win? because, kerry was not the primary choice for many of us, he won the primaries because the media whores thrust him upon us as the best bet and the most liberal senator on the hill. My dog could have won, if there had been no cheating, we all know only 32 inbred idiots voted Shrub, Gore won, Kerry won, yes, we are awfully betrayed, and will never know why. One of the great mysteries forever undiscovered.

11. I told hubby to remove them
and then for a week he didn't. Then I sat one night really thinking about it. I couldn't take them off, as soon as hubby got home from work I said "I changed my mind, don't take my Kerry stickers off" he looked at me sadly and said "I just did" So, they are gone. But I now have my DU bumper sticker to put on the car, so I don't feel to bad as of yet. Although, I still get real sad when I see other cars with their Kerry stickers on and I understand the emotional attachment these people have with that sticker. I feel like a death in the family has occured.

47. peeled mine off before the car went to the junkyard.
My car was rear-ended and totalled (by an uninsured driver - oh, we having some fun, now - Not), which was bad enough. But there was no way my stickers were going to accompany it to the junkyard. The thought of some bushbots nyuk-nyuking and commenting on them being there while they stripped parts was too much.

How weird is it that peeling off those stickers was almost harder on me than losing my car? But, hey - the trunk being nearly in the backseat made them really easy to reach and take off of the rear window.
:insert 'sad smile' smilie here:

Hope nobody was injured when your car was wrecked. Mine was parked at the time, so nobody was in it.

I have the sticker taped to the inside back window of my car, a Kerry poster in one of my house front window, a pin with the slash thru bush on my purse ( that my step-grandson (???) wants in the worst way ! ) -my daughter- the slash bush pin, has kerry/edwards sticker on the back of her car and one on her twin's stroller --hmmm, I think that's all. My neighbors know me- they understand me- they don't want to be me, but they know what I stand for...and all this in the O.C., ca--how about that!
And, today, I just happen to have my Gore/Leiberman t-shirt on---

22. Hell No
I have two vans, a full size, and a mini-van. I got the mini-van last July, I'm keeping the Carpenters for Kerry sticker on it. The full sized van, I've had for almost five years. It keeps its Carpenters for Kerry, and the Carpenters for Gore stickers. I did however, take my Gore/Lieberman sign out of the window of my house last night. I'm replacing it with my Kerry/Edwards sign. I want everybody who drives by to know I didn't vote for that stupid son of bitch from Baja Oklahoma.

The way I see it, if Kerry wasn't going to fight for the American people or even the dignity of the office of president itself, then there's no need for me to fight for him. I would have left the stickers on during any challenge or even vocal participation in the investigations of irregularities, but Sen. Kerry showed me how misplaced my loyalties were by caving on day 2.

52. Being totally surrounded by red,
I removed my bumper sticker the day after the election, and pasted it here on my computer. My yard sign was removed to the patio in the back where I can see it everytime I go out there to smoke.

I do like the idea of being able to spot one another when we drive around, so have an Air America Radio bumper sticker. One day, I came up behind a car with a bumper sticker that said, "What would Wellstone do?" He and I drove along together, waving and flashing the peace sign at one another....it made my day, being able to recognize another liberal in the deep south.

I am looking for a Black Ribbon....but if it is magnitized, someone will just take it off my car. Am looking for a sticker type of Black Ribbon to stick on the inside of my back windshield. If anyone knows where I could order one or more, please post.

69. No, too many W stickers here in my red state.
I say, stick it in their eye. I still have my Richard Morrison sticker on also (DeLay's opponent). Richard is running again in 2006, so why not economize and just keep it on for the long run?!

70. No,
But a few weeks ago while I was shopping someone peeled it off and re-affixed it upside down. I'm not sure what that meant.

71. I took mine off
Truthfully, but my heart was sadder when I had to remove the Gore stickers..somehow the 2000 election had left me numb to the the 2004 outcome.

Of interesting note, I still see quite a few Dean stickers and my heart feels good when I do see them in traffic.

72. Yes, for the 2nd time!
I first put a Kerry sticker on my car in 2003. I removed it in disgust minutes after Kerry conceded.

I put a new one on the following week when I believed that he was working behind the scenes in Ohio. After he did not show up to vote on January 6th and made it clear in his e-mail letter that he was not going to join the challenge, I took my bumper sticker off again.

Why should we stand up for those who will not stand up for us?

75. NOPE.
Put it on after the convention, haven't taken it off.

I don't really plan to, though I have one that says "If you can read this you're not the president." That I might replace it with, but it's my way of saying "Fuck you, I did not vote for Bush, I do not support Bush, he is NOT my president." I don't care about possible reactions; I'm a citizen and a black belt.

76. No room with Clark for Prez sticker in the first place
It was easy for me to be anti-Bush, but I was only ever lukewarm about Kerry. I put up a sign, then when he immediately caved I took it down.

80. No, I haven't removed it and I have no intention of doing so.
Right above it since November I have placed a "Draft Young Republicans".

I don't give a rat's ass if someone doesn't like it. I just laugh at them.

83. I did the afternoon Kerry conceded. I was really angry about all the
hype and requests for donations to the "legal team". Never again, Kerry.

84. Replaced it with "Bring them home NOW"
It has a yellow ribbon on it and is a nice response to all the magnetic ribbons hanging about. The matching "Support the Troops, Bring Them Home Now!" yard sign is in the front yard to replace the Kerry sign. The red circle and slash "W" sign on my front door gets comments as well. Soem people still do not know what it means..

I also put a "Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry" on one car.
