3. Also not mentioned anymore ...
... the 350 some-odd tons of high explosives that disappeared on our watch. Down the old memory hole with Abu Ghraib, WMD, Plame, "Bring 'Em On," Juniors AWOL, "Mission Accomplished," and other Bu$h scandals.

4. I took one of your examples (Abu Ghraib) and googled..
Found 300 hits in the last 24 hours...I think your beef is more with people not paying attention.

7. When Abu Ghraib is mentioned nowadays ...

... it is often tangential to another story (Alberto Gonzalez's upcoming confirmation hearing, for example). But you hit the nail on the head about the peeps paying attention. They seldom pay attention to the important things. With that I have a big beef.

6. The missing 350 tons of high explosives is lost on the MSM ...
... but evidently not to the "insurgents"

5. Iraqi or Saudi Suicide Bomber - What's the Difference?
It's no secret that there are plenty of foreign fighters inside Iraq and that they've been disproportionately busy blowing themselves up.

I will agree, though, that this is significant. It demonstrates one of the unintended(?) consequences of Bush's Iraq strategy: the coalescence of radical anti-American forces in the region.
