2. No link?
How much does Matt Pudge make?

And Sandykins?

As Gates is worth $50 billion, his donation of $3 million would be, percentagewise, 0.00006. Just something to consider.

7. That being a part of the world where Gates does
a considerable amount of business, I'm sure this will not be Gates' last donation. Gates also does a lot of other charitable work in other areas (3rd world Malaria, AIDS, TB prevention and education). You can find lots of reasons to dislike the man, I just don't think this is a good one.

6. I'd be surprised if he gave anything to charity.
His father talked big about giving...remember his "thousand points of light?...but when someone checked his personal tax return he had little or no charity deductions. He had some lame excuse about how he gave money to individuals instead of charities. I guess he considered bailing junior out of jail to be "charity." :eyes:

8. The Whole PUDGE Clan Has Web Pages
I think this is his dad's. Also, his (aunt?) has one. Maybe his mother. His parents were federal bureaucrats (shoulda-been Libs).

9. Wasn't O'Lielly on a tear after the 9/11 benefits
about how much money liberal Hollywood types actually donated out of their own pockets? I wonder if he reported this.

And, I swear, I hear GHW Bush refer to his donation to the relief effort as "a lot for Barabra and I." I figure that would probably be around $25.00.

10. Repuke Standby: "1000 Pts of Light" = CUT OFF Social Spending
and let the "private sector" (donations/church-based) take up the slack. Yeah, right.

11. Michael Dell Got Press
in today's paper for his $3 million donation. Dell got huge paybacks for his biggie donations to Bush & GOP. All the computers in Iraq are Dells. 3 million isn't much IMO
