US majority didn't support invasion of Iraq ("librul media" in action)

So which headline says the majority of Americans DID support bush's invasion of Iraq, and which headline says the majority DID NOT?

1. Poll: Most back war, but want U.N. support

OR:

2. Poll: Only 47% back war without 2nd UN Security Council vote

Well, when you're the US StenoMedia, they're BOTH the SAME POLL. Just SPIN baby SPIN!

#1 is of course the actual headline that was published. The #2 headline is what the poll actually showed.

Poll findings:

-If bush went for a 2nd UN vote, and IF the UN APPROVED, then 60% supported the invasion.

-If bush went for a 2nd UN vote, and IF the UN DISAPPROVED, then 54% would support the invasion.

BUT...and this is a VERY BIG BUT:

If bush DID NOT go back to the UN SC for a 2nd vote AT ALL, then support for invasion was only 47%.

A MAJORITY OPPOSED bush's invasion of Iraq UNLESS bush went for that 2nd UN SC vote.

Which bush PROMISED to do "NO MATTER WHAT".

Which bush then DIDN'T DO.

The poll makes it quite clear; if bush didn't go for that 2nd UN vote, then the MAJORITY of Americans WOULD NOT SUPPORT the invasion of Iraq. Funny how that isn't what the headline says.
