Re: Scott Peterson Trial

--There are as many as 50 television trucks and 850 journalists credentialed to cover the trial. High-profile reporters sign autographs. The major television networks have more people in Redwood City than they do in Iraq--

1. Watch one episode of the Simple Life
and you'll want to strap on the explosives and do some damage yourself...

(Note to those without a sense of humor - relax, it's a joke)

6. That's obvious: Michael Jackson's porn magazines!
Edited on Sun Dec-12-04 06:41 PM by johnfunk
Report--Prints of Jackson and Accuser found on Porn Magazines
(andPOP) - The fingerprints of Michael Jackson, as well as of his young accuser, were found on the same pornographic magazine, according to CNN.

The magazines were reportedly seized during a raid on his ranch in 2003, not the one that took place last week.

According to the report, the boy was present at Jackson's Neverland Ranch at times when Jackson was away, so he could have handled the magazine when Jackson was not present.

The boy's lawyers however are expected to argue that Jackson showed the boy the magazines.

Jackson's trial begins January 31, 2005.

I know, I know, no late-term fetus to fetishize -- but look at it this way: at least moralist scold hypocrites will latch on the gay/pedophile angle.

My question: what magazine? National Review? American Spectator? There was no Weekly Standard back then.

ON EDIT: HTML. I'm not having a good tag day.

4. Well, don't overlook the fact
that it is also a bit more comfortable here than in Iraq. Yes, there are some journalists who would readily go to Iraq, but I'm betting there are some who lobbied hard to get a Peterson-type story to stay here in good ole U. S. of A. I also bet you those people are also right-leaning people. They support the war, I'm sure, but not enough to cover it in that country.
