As if you didn't know W is the anti-christ, this time with some proof
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 02:32 AM by Melodybe
I was reading a thread earlier that talked about Bush being the anti-christ, and someone posted a link to

www.bushisantichrist.com

Wow, I am not famliar with all of the numerology techniques but this site really is amazing. Any insight to the correctness of the techniques used by the author would be appreciated, although if they are wrong I still will fervantly believe that W is the anti-christ.

I have long believed that Bush was the anti-christ since his rule over us all brings out the absolute worst in all of the people I know that are generally good christians. Their bigotry, hatred, and unaccepting attitudes take over and all of their good qualities are quickly forgotten.

Also the two people I know that are strangely good at judging people's character could not fucking stand him upon first glance.

My friend Jennifer is hands down the best judge of character I have ever met. Friends that I immediately liked, she automatically disliked, and time after time they ended up totally fucking me over. After 15 years of being her best friend I believe her now when she says stay way from so and so.

She started calling Bush the anti-christ shortly after the 2000 election. Her first sighting of him made her physically ill. She says that she was filled with such hatred for him she could not explain it. She threw up and the rest is history.

Since high school she has told me that the world as we know it would end in 2006. I didn't believe her then but after 15 years of her always being right, now I'm afraid to agree.

My other friend Alicia is freaking awesome too, she is not as accurate as Jennifer but she is pretty damn close. She disliked all of the same friends as Jennifer and also verilantly disliked Bush upon first site.

Now Alicia has an interesting background, she is inherently liberal and always has been but was forced to go to a private Baptist school. Her parents are very religious, but very nice folks that had been life long republicans until this last election when they both voted Kerry. Alicia first saw W on the Trinity Broadcasting Network when he was running in 2000 (in Alicia's defense TBN was channel 4, the same channel as her DVD player, so she did not have it on TBN for her own entertainment). She didn't vomit at first site, but recognized that he was a fundie like the ones at her crazy Baptist school. From then on she and I argued alot because I was a Nader voter. Like most Nader voters I wanted her to vote Nader too but her response was always the same, "I know you don't believe me, but that fucker is crazy and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he isn't elected." I scoffed her warning and like an asshat voted for Nader.

She is now happy that I have admitted her correctness.

Jennifer also said the same and planned on voting Gore for pretty much the same reasons, but was violently ill on Nov. 2, and didn't get to vote.

I didn't start calling him the anti-christ until after 9/11. My friend Jeremey, who stood next to me as we watched to second plane hit in our college's cafeteria, and I were immediately concerned with what "they" (the repubs) would do next. Unlike many we were completely convinced that Bush had something to do with it, and that the repubs would use it to their advantage. After talking to Jennifer, Alicia, and Jeremy I took that attitude to my classes later that day. The looks I recieved on were disbelieveing and unforgettable.

It was not until the Iraq war that I was completely convinced of his anti-christness even though I did joking call him that all the time.

I am not a christian, I grew up in Biblebelt Mississippi with hippi parents that followed an Indian guru. I flirted with Christianity when I was younger than ten, but when I was told that I was going to burn in hell for not being baptised I quit going to the First Baptist Church with my Aunt.

I have studied every major religion/philosophy on earth (with the exception of the Islam, I immediately disliked their treatment of woman and wrote it off) and if forced to pick one that I liked the most Taoism would have been my choice.

Oddly since the anti-christ has taken power I have started reading the bible on my own, I was delighted to find that fundies don't really read the bible. The whole of Christianity that I had been exposed to as a child was all just a preverted and evil version of real christianity.

I probably won't ever get baptised but I now love Jebus a whole lot and think that as profits go he was closer to how to treat people than any other.

Funny how that anti-christ made me take a look at christ and actually learn to love and pay attention to him.

Anyway the first thing I posted after I knew Bush had stolen another election was that Bush was the anti-christ. I was even quoted as saying it at a few conservative sites. Since the second election theft now my entire family, including my grandparents believe that Bush is the anti-christ, literally.

here's one:

So anyway if you hadn't been there before check out bushistheantichrist.com and see for yourself.

1. I can believe this wholeheartedly. I have never had such an instant,
intense dislike of anyone in my life than when I first laid eyes on George W. Bush. And I usually sense and find the good in most people. Like your friend, with Bush, it is an almost feral, instinctive feeling of being in the presence of evil. I have NEVER even come close to this type of feeling for anyone in my whole life. Not even when I've seen convicted serial killers. I even felt some minor, basic respect for Nixon despite Watergate and all his shenanigans in office. But Bush, my God, it was like I had a deeply spiritual revulsion, and it's only gotten worse over time. I am completely convinced that he is an evil, evil man.

11. Wow,
I was just going to post exactly what you wrote. Oh, I am so glad to see I am not alone with that feeling. Eeeri, isn't it, how he made so many feel that way. Nixon was an angel compared to *.

2. This is old news.
He sold his soul to the devil at a dusty, dirty intersection outside Midland, TX in 1966.

You may not know, but George Bush can PLAY the violin like madman.

3. I realized he was the antiChrist after some Jehovah's Witnesses
a few days before the election gave me a magazine. I looked at it and my eye fell on a paragraph that sounded exactly like *: wages war unprovoked on other countries; aligns politics with religion; fools a lot of people, but many are afraid of him and hate him; pretends to be godly and religious, but is not in truth.

It said that God puts it in the heart of a foreign leader to destroy him. And to beware when the city is surrounded by troops. Then it is time to leave the area.

Those numerology techniques are valid.

The only part I found hokey at the site were the claims of devil signs that * makes with his hands. Enough is enough. But then what do I know.

I understand the principle of the AntiChrist more now, knowing *. Sure, some supernatural evil may be involved, but much more, it is the cruelty that has grown up in the name of Christ, the violence and arrogance, that has come to full expression at the end of the era. It gives the world the opportunity to rise up against it and stand for something good for a change.

4. satire alert! notice that it's copied from a 'David Hasselhoff is the...
...antichrist' website.

it's in jest.

That is not to say Bush is NOT the anti-Christ, however.

5. How do you know that the David Hasselhoff site came first?
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 04:13 AM by Melodybe
still the stuff referred to is very eerie and Bush is in fact the antichrist.

Plus the guy doing the site wrote a whole book about it, if it is satire he is really dedicated.

10. This is a great thread.

It is interesting that "W" in a way is bringing people closer to God. Even people with very little religious exposure are reading the Bible cause just from the little they know about Jesus that they can't believe "W" and fundamentalists are accurately representing them.

Jesus himself said most people would be fooled in the end, those that thought that they were on the right side were really on the wrong side.

I used to go to a fundamentalist church when I was a kid, but I never really read the Bible. When I was about 13 I decided to read the Bible cover to cover. After that I realized how far most Fundamentalist churches are from Jesus' teachings. In fact most seem to totally ignore his teachings and instead focus on the Old Testament.

The Gnostics believed that the reason there was evil and suffering in the world was that the world was not created by God. It was created by a lesser celestial being who was jealous of God's ability to create. Since the world was created out of desire rather than love it contains evil and is flawed. But since the Celestial being created it we all have a spark of the divine in us. The REAL god, loving, compassionate took pity on us and sent us Jesus to help liberate us. That is how they explain the harsh, judgemental god of the old testament versus the good, compassionate god Jesus characterized.

12. If Bush is the Antichrist he sure must change a lot.
Most Jewish people will come to believe he is the Messiah. The majority of Jewish people don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah, but they will fall for the Antichrist.
The Jewish Temple must be rebuilt because the Antichrist will set in the Temple.
There must also be a seven year peace treaty signed with Israel and after three and one half years he(The Antichrist)will break the peace treaty.

Here are just a few other things to keep in mind about the Antichrist.
He will be an intellectual genius, oratorical genius, political genius,
commercial genius, military genius, governmental genius and a religious genius.
I just don't see Bush coming within a million miles of being the Antichrist.

14. This is a really good article that just came out
in the Seattle Weekly. Is Bush the Antichrist?

http://www.seattleweekly.com/features/printme.php3?eid=59100

It doesn't go into all the wacky numerology stuff, but it is a good analysis of how W's policies and his followers are not acting like Christians.

The Rapture Exposed by Barbara Rossing. She is a Lutheran theologian who explains very well why the entire rapture theology is BS.
