Conyers needs emails now! SEND TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
Got this from Mark Crispian Miller:

John Conyers is trying to collect a couple million emails on the voting investigation..

He has set up a special form for you to ask questions of the committee..

Please send off an email with a question for the Democratic members of the Judiciary Committee Hearing on the Ohio Vote.

Click below and take a moment to write your opinions of the 2004 Presidential vote.

1. I sent a message but the process never completed.
I am wondering if it went through.

5. Takes awhile for message to go through
I have a cable connection, and it took about a minute for the entire message to appear on the thank you page. The site is apparently very busy. I would be patient and wait for your entire message to appear just to be sure.

7. I didn't know what to send, since I don't have any evidence or questions
but thought maybe they might just need supportive letters, so here is what I wrote. not very good, but at least something.

Other Issue: Ohio hearing 2004

Message: I want to thank you for holding the Judiciary Hearing on the Ohio vote. From my experience and knowledge as a lay person who has spent the last 18 months researching and working on the issue of voting system vulnerabilities in Georgia, I am convinced that this election has suffered from massive anomalies that must be subjected to absolute and unrelenting scrutiny.

There seems to be enough evidence of vote manipulation and voter disenfranchisement that the election should be decertified, and another election held. How can we even think about accepting an election where the voting process was so opaque and filled with discrepancies and manipulation, without first resolving those discrepancies? It can not be so.

We the people must have fair, transparent, and just election processes. We must all demand that it is so, no matter how much resistance and how overwhelming the opposition seems to be.

Our votes are the foundation of our democracy. Without having the ability to hold our elected officials accountable, we have no democracy. When elections are manipulated on such a massive scale as to leave the results in doubt, as in this election, we can not let it pass without fighting for our Constitutional rights.

You and those who are working with you to shine the light of justice on this election are true patriots. Those of us who have been out here fighting in the trenches are filled with gratitude for your taking the lead in seeing that the truth will be served.

8. here's what I wrote:
We need answers. Namely this: Whose bright idea was it to turn our elections over to corporations? Whose bright idea was it to let them have proprietary code in our elections that they refuse to divulge? Whose bright idea was it to have no paper trail for our elections so that anybody could hack the machines and steal the votes?

Whose bright idea was it to use optical scanners connected to Windows PC's running Microsoft Access connected to the known universe with a MODEM so anybody could sneak in, change the numbers, and split without leaving a trace?

Whose bright idea was it to make things so freaking messed up in our voting system that we don't even believe REcounts much less COUNTS?

You are responsible for ensuring the future of Democracy in America.

That is NOT hyperbole.

Now get to work.

11. My question
Why are convicted felons not allowed to vote yet we allow corporations controlled by convicted felons to count our votes.
