Family Values Platform Comes Back To Haunt Governor
http://www.365gay.com/NewsContent/090403colGov.htm

Colorado governor Bill Owens is in a family values meltdown. Owens, a conservative Republican, has made family values one of the main elements of his political platform.

Owens has continually spoken out about the importance of traditional families. In 2000 he pushed through the state's Defense of Marriage Act, which bans gay marriage.

When President Bush came to Colorado in August 2001 to raise money for Owens' re-election, the focus of his speech was family values and Bush praised Owens for his support of traditional families.

5. He Had To Cancel Two Religious Engagements
where he was to speak about "family values". At least he had the brains to cancel.

I swear, everytime they write a story about Owens in CO, they never fail to mention "considered to be a presidential candidate for 2008"

Bill Owens for President?? Whaaaaaaaa!!

but of course look who we've gotten from the GOP, Ronald Raygun and Bush the W.
