9. Twice, Ken Adelman said that nobody should be complaining that
Iraq hadn't turned into Switzerland ten minutes after the war. Ten minutes after the war? The commander in chief declared "Mission Accomplished" on May 1. It is now September 4 and we are losing an average of one American soldier per day to guerilla attacks and "accidents" like a vehicle getting hit by gunfire or a soldier stepping on a land mine. It's not only not Switzerland, it's a nightmare. And the Middle Eastern news media reports the deaths of Muslim martyrs in Iraq. I saw two different funerals for martyrs today on Link TV's rebroadcasts of news from the Middle East. This is not playing well over there.
