Poll question: Ready to leave Iraq?
After the disasterous invasion I felt we needed to stay ala the "you break it you bought it" rule, but now I'm just about ready to cut and run. How do you feel?

Maybe I'll give them elections +2 months.

2. You break it you bought it?
You buy it by breaking it some more? Do you seriously believe the "election" means anything?

Saddam used to have elections when he was in power too. They were just as legitimate.

4. You're right, of course!
I don't think the elections *actually* mean anything, however, if they're seen by the Iraqi people (which, I admit is insanely doubtful), they could have some positive effect.

Gawd, what a mess!

As far as I am concerned this is what the US fixing Iraq amounts to.

I think they've had enough of our help frankly.

5. By leaving now we would stop a lot of killing.
I don't think for a minute that the Iraqi people would be killing each other as we are killing them. Yes we must leave before peace can be. Peace, not a chance until we get the hell out.
