GOPonomics can't sustain itself. We're very close to having the consumer market choked off, and it's 60% of the economy. Average household credit card debt alone is $8000, and it's unsecured debt, meaning there is nothing to repossess and sell to recover it.

It's frightening how close this country is to economic collapse, a process hastened along by GOP economic stupidity and the dogma of free trade which has exported jobs but not shared the wealth.

Both parties are really to blame for much of this mess, but we might have been able to squeeze a few more years of relative stability out of a bad system had the voting been fair and legal and Kerry taken over from the profligate GOP.

As it is, there is nothing we can do about it. They control everything, and will lie, cheat and steal to keep controlling it. The worst thing we can do right now is give them someone else to blame. Let them feed on their own when disaster happens.
