in the Mathew Gross blog
"As a non-American, non-white, non-Jewish and non-Muslim, living in a peaceful part of the world halfway across the globe, almost in the Arctic, I watched with horror from the day Al Gore inexplicably conceded.
I observed 911 and saw an evil man start his exploitation of sympathy in a horrific manner.
Now I watch the preplanned rape of people and countries by probably the most corrupt, lying group of warmongers in power in the US.
I have long wondered how at all this was possible.
The great piece by Mel Giles helped perfectly slot the behaviour into the empty spot in my jig-saw puzzle - the behaviour of victims.
In this you stopped at a few names, but I could add a lot of people in the liberal media who are supposedly on "our" side as Al Franken, the Young Turks, etc.
On the other hand I am greatly heartened by some of the fighters as Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, Mike Webb, Guy James, and such knowledgeable forces of communication as Thom Hartmann and Peter Werbe.
I am also greatly heartened by fighters as Bev Harris and her team, and now one mainstream media personality as Keith Olbermann.
The most shameful of the whole lot today is Skull and Bones co-member with Bush, John Kerry. No amount of talk on his part will convince me that he was the wrong choice as the Democratic candidate when there were such powerful voices as Dennis Kucinich and Howard Dean literally shouting their throats hoarse about the tragedy of America.
Wake up you battered people of America and stop this Bush maniac also battering people, all people, around the globe!! Otherwise, you too are guilty of this act of criminal abuse emanating from your shores and will witness a global backlash which will not separate "you" from "them" as colateral damage.
Osama bin Laden did that. But the next time you will not get the sympathy of the world. The world chorus will be that "as you sow you shall reap".
Ther only way out of this is not a recount or re-election but the downright criminalisation of the Bushian Party and its supporters."
