Four more years that the media has to lie to protect the American people.

They will lie with their polls. CNN and Gallup will report that 60% of the people support pResident Bush. They will do their best to give the impression that he is supported widely by the majority of the country, whether it is true or not. The purpose of the supposed "support" is to convince our enemies that we are a united nation. The sad fact is entirely the opposite.

But to report a divided country with an ignorant and despised leader would only encourage our enemies. The goal of our media is not to report the news or the facts but to protect George W Bush, because if he is not protected, then our nation is at risk. We can expect daily polls telling us how popular Mr Bush is with the American people. It's mostly for foreign consumption.

1. Doesn't seem to be changing the overseas impression of Bush
Must make the American people look extremely foolish. Can't see how it discourages those who would do us harm to get to our counterfeit leader.

3. Sort of...
:) And their reporting of his "popularity" makes the average viewer think he really is "popular". I think it is all a media hype but I may be wrong. Maybe he is a popular leader??
