Kennedy assassination re-created in video game
:wtf: This is just un-effin believable.

LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- A new video game to be released on Monday allows players to simulate the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

The release of "JFK Reloaded" is timed to coincide with the 41st anniversary of Kennedy's murder in Dallas and was designed to demonstrate a lone gunman was able to kill the president.

"It is despicable," said David Smith, a spokesman for Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, the late president's brother. He was informed of the game on Friday but declined further comment.

Kirk Ewing, managing director of the Scottish firm Traffic Games, which developed the game, said he understood some people would be horrified at the concept, but he insisted he and his team had nothing but respect for Kennedy and for history.

1. Is it put out by a right wing company?
I can't imagine what kind of person could even invent a 'game' like that. Is it meant to put ideas in the nuttiest right wingers heads - I thought that was Ann Coulters job?

Or is it some leftie trying to point out the real reason Kennedy was murdered?

Or is it just some sicko trying to make a buck?

3. We need to make up some games of our own
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 09:24 AM by LiberalEsto
such as B*sh Family games in which W. plays hide-and-seek with the Texas Air National Guard and dodges the Vietnam draft; Laura runs over her ex-boyfriends; the twins vie to see which can get the most stinking drunk and puke the farthest; B*sh executes Texas prisoners and Iraqi children -- use your skill to help him kill as many as possible in a given time limit.

Or how about "Race to the Rapture", a game in which freaked-out fundie nuts run over people with their SUVs, race through plagues of locusts, burn piles of science books, etc. en route to their encounter with Doom. If they get to Mt. Rapture in time, they get whooshed into the Great Beyond. Surprise! They've actually arrived in Hell, and Satan's ready with hot pitchforks.

In seriousness, this Kennedy "game" is the vilest, most tasteless thing I've ever heard of.
