"So Why Don't You Move To Canada?"
Edited on Sun Nov-21-04 10:21 AM by RedSock
I hate this stupid line of comment from Repubs. And a poster has a thread in which she heard it from her stepfather in a big fight.

I always assume that most of the morans saying this do not have a very high opinion of Bill Clinton. Once I learn that, indeed, they hate Clinton, I ask them: "So where did you live from 1992 to 2000?"

They just sputter after that -- because they are full of BS. Anyone else try that type of comment, or another one?

(Of course, I AM moving to Canada, but that's not the point. You don't get a divorce every time you disagree with your husband or wife ... nothing is 100% perfect.)

2. Complaining is a red blooded american tradition. Anybody tells you to
move to Canada for speaking your mind tell them to transport themselves to a country were non of the populace is allowed to speak their mind because it seems to you that's where they would perfer to be.

3. I am staying for now
but my Irish citizenship has been looking mor attractive than my U.S. citizenship lately. If it doesn't get better by 2008, I am probably headed to Ireland.

4. If you are an Irish citizen, can you live anywhere in the EU?
Much as I like Ireland (I'm Irish by heritage), I think the cool, wet climate would get to me. Spain or Italy - that's the ticket!

Actually, I'm not going anywhere. Someone needs to stay and fight. And I am confident that Bush's 2nd term is going to do a lot to improve the Democrats' prospects for the future....

6. i believe i can
but language is a bit of a drawback though. I love Greece and would love to live somewhere in the Mediteranean. But speaking only english (and a little spanish) it would take some creative planning to come up with a way to make a good living.

Ireland was just named the best country to live in though.

7. Yes, you can.
And the EEA as well--Iceland, Norway, etc:

>>

If you are an Irish citizen, you are entitled to carry an Irish passport and leave Ireland to travel abroad, to vote in an Irish election and to be elected to government in Ireland and in the European Union. As an Irish citizen, you are also entitled to live, travel and work within the European Union/European Economic Area.

5. Response suggestion: If you hate the Bill of Rights & Constitution so
much and support vote fraud, why don't you secede? Oh, tried that... and you can't get your neighbors to help you try again?
