Torture photos from Abu Ghraib prison don't come up in Google image search

Does anyone else find it odd that none of the infamous abuse and torture photos from Abu Ghraib prison come up in Google image searches?

Try it... Do a Google image search for "Abu Ghraib" and see what comes up. What is up with that?

My search retrieved 6 pages.

Keep in mind, google can make their searches regionalized based upon your IP range. There is a way that they can show results to Californians, that they wouldn't show to Alabamans, and vice versa.

one picture. interesting you would think there would be lots of cross references that is how Google is supposed to work.

Try this some time, google your DU name. See who is looking at your posts as well as how they try to distort what you have said.

Search engines can be enlightening, I'm waiting for the * crack down on the internet(s).

I can't think of any reason why Google would want to hide Abu Ghraib torture photos. I just think it is weird that none of the torture photos come up when "Abu Ghraib" is entered into a Google image search.

The Abu Ghraib photos that can be seen by clicking on links that come up in a normal Google search do not come up in a Google image search. Why?

I'm trying to determine why the Abu Ghraib prison toture photos do not come up in a Google image search. That is all I want to know.

15. How goggle is supposed to work.

They cross reference links on the Internet. If a site has a key word or phrase they check all of the links on that site. This was quite a revolution when it was first started 3-4 years ago.

What must be happening, don't why there are so few hits, other Internet sites would not be linking Abu Ghraib with pictures of torture or humiliation.

I had never heard before today there may be regional variations on how the search engine works.
