Hmmmm....The only people who'd have reason to sneak around are KKKarls little E-fools and/or the Greenies, all of whom know they just may be toast if Clark is on the ticket.

They have known since the beginning of the year that the DNC was grooming Clark to be available as a VP candidate if their expected VP, Edwards, faltered. Alterman mentioned it about 6 months ago on some show, probably Hardball. I believed him then, and still do. You have to be seen as a potential president before you can be sold as VP.

If any newbies are trashing Clark, I would bet they are Rove operatives.
