Some have suggested Kevin Sites "lose" the tape...
This morning Imus and friends suggested that Sites should have just "lost" the tape because of everything that has come out from it. Miklawszewski from NBC did not agree with this ridiculous attempt at censorship and said furthermore that not only should this tape be shown, but the bodies coming back to Dover should be shown so the American people can see all the ugliness of war and how the military treat the American dead with respect.

But afterwards, Pat Buchanan said he agreed with Imus. In addition, several "jokes" were made by Imus and friends about Sites possibly being subjected to some friendly fire.

I am very concerned about the idea that people think military embeds should just go away. I know there are other threads about what the marine did. But what about this sudden cry for military censorship?

It sickens me that people are thinking this way. If it weren't for people like Sites, we wouldn't have an clue of the horrors of this war.

4. I think they might be talking about the marine shooting the Iraqi between
the two buildings. Not sure though.

12. Wait...wait...restorefreedom! There was another shooting on video or
was that marine shooting at the Iraqi between two buildings at a mosque? I'm confused. Thanks.

9. I posted in another thread that I haven't seen coverage on that
incident. I saw it once befor the mosque shooting came out and was outraged by it. I guess the mosque shooting just overshadowed it.

3. Why, why, why listen to Imus?
Why do that to yourself?

8. I was going to post the same thing....
I just will never get the absurd compulsion to watch or listen to a show that I know going in will annoy me, and then feeling the need to post on the internet about how much it annoyed me.

But to each their own I guess.

7. Need to get the video
Somebody needs to get video of that and circulate it on the Internet. If we want the truth out, we need to be able to put it out.

11. There has been reports that 4 Iraqis were killed
Has anyone else heard that four people died instead of just one in that mosque? My husband watched the video. I'll try and get him to post the link.

13. Typical Conservative mindset- same kind of comments were made
when the AG stories/pix came out. Guess being confronted by ugly little realities tends to add unwelcome complication to their fantasies of white hats and Good vs. Evil. After all, one can only ignore and rationalize so much, right? Only solution for Cons = shoot the messenger.
