entirely against the war, and I think it's the majority opinion over here... nobody likes or trusts Blair any more, and that's largely to do with his "poodle" status re Bush. I think we're proud that our troops behave so differently to the US troops, although that seems to be changing. In short, this will make British opinion of the war much worse (particularly when the body bags start rolling in), and it was rock-bottom to begin with.
Today Tony appealed to the leaders of Europe to stop "ridiculing" the Shrub, and I could practically hear the laughter from Land's End to John O'Groats. On the other hand, I can see this country steadily becoming more right-wing, due in large part I believe to the influence of US "politics" (sorry), so I guess we'll see.
