Conversation with a palestinian.
Mr. TNDemo was on a plane last week and sat beside a man of palestinian descent. The guy told him that as far as the rest of the world was concerned about Bush, they knew he got in by shady methods four years ago and felt like all the dumb things America was doing was his fault but did not blame the American people. Now that he has been put back in office by what the rest of the world perceives as a fair election they now blame the American people too.

Thanks Dumbya.

1. That's why they gave George the popular vote.
Now they'll go gunning for any American, instead of targetting just George.

2. Not an isolated feeling
People I have spoken too in Europe and Asia said the same thing. When I travel I always say I am from Canada. Now I will have to wear a maple leaf or something. How can 60 million people be so incredibly ignorant??? :evilfrown:

5. The Palestinian is wrong....
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 08:54 PM by higher class
People voted for Kerry and people voted against Bush in nearly unprecedented numbers = just under half of those who voted, voted to get Bush out AND it may end up being MORE THAN HALF. People made small and big sacrifices to vote him out. And thousands and thousands woke up in time to vote (meaning they woke up to the idiocy and danger brought by Bush and his PNAC and Fed Society.

Half of we voters are sick about the result - not only because we may not be able to recover as a country, but because we may also become targets.

Also, a vote against Bush was also a vote against Sharon for many of us. Most of us want peace, hope, and stability for Palestine and Israel.

But we don't want it the right wing reichsteig way no matter which side of the Atlantic we're on.
