How about an Atheist/Agnostic/Free-Thinker Group on DU?

I think it could be fun and it would be a counterbalance to the Prayer Circle Group (non-denominational).

If you don't know what the hell I am talking about, this should clear it up

1. There was one proposed earlier

and they needed ten members I think to make it. I threw my name in, although I was the 11th or 12th one to actually join. So I assumed it had made the cut.

However, there doesn't appear to be one.

4. No, I've just been

looking for it, with no luck. The idea was a place to discuss things without having to debate if there was a God every third post.

I mentioned that new group, the Brights, who are out to champion atheists everywhere in the world.

It has, however, been a very busy board today. Rapid fire messages, dozens of suggestions. Admin is probably dizzy by now. :D
