Just curious what you all think about Professional v. Personal responsibility and commitment.

If you can run the country, I don't care if you're single, married, or playing the field (can you IMAGINE that??)

No American politician would ever be allowed to have a sex life. Americans want their leaders neut-...er, married.

4. Yeah. The practicalities of dating while campaigning or governing...
would be hell. We had a single female mayor in Houston. Her night life, I'm told on pretty good authority, was to work late and go home, watch the late news while eating yogurt.

But, married, civilly united, single, divorced, widowed, celibate -- all those kinds of people have made wonderful accomplishments in many fields. Any of the above.
