Are there more of these psycho right-wing types than us liberals? It would seem so. What do you think?

3. Absolutely
I'd say there's way more of them, really. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of us too. Maybe about 40 million right-wing loonies versus 30 million left-wing liberals, with about 200 million people in between.

I mean, c'mon, Coloradodem2004! You ought to know there's oodles of them. I've got two words for you -- Colorado Springs.
I lived there for four years. That Focus on the Family is something else, yeah?

4. This year there were.

Canvassing proved to me that we cannot rely on the voter registrations to think there are more of us. There are way more of us on the rolls...

BUT

I believe these registrations harken back to old days when Democrats really still voted Democrat. There are so many now...that vote Republican and have for years. Very few of them have bothered to change their registrations.

We can get a lot of them back, but not without a great deal of work. The energy is with the Republican Party at this moment and has been for quite a while.

Lots of young Republicans don't even understand the grand days of Liberalism. It has been dead to them their whole lives.

6. Here's the problem.
People who are more like libertarians actually voted for Bush. They're fiscal conservatives and social liberals.

Many troops probably felt that Bush would support them and that Kerry wouldn't because Kerry wouldn't support a bill that made the poor and middle class (instead of the rich) pay for supporting the military. You may agree or disagree with it, but I think a lot of troops took that personal.

I do not believe the majority of this country is fundamentalist. I had too many people judging me when I was a fundamentalist to believe that. Unfortunately, it's also not politically correct to be as liberal as Kerry was (and he wasn't a liberal at all compared to Dean!).

7. We don't know where the 40-45% that did not vote....
stand. Would they be with us or against us? We do not know for sure that those thta voted are against us.

8. No. Mainly naive types who see *'s faith as their own, then
tell the rest of us to have faith.

Anyone watch the original "V" miniseries in 1983?
