It's just funny hearing these bums talk about how the "fringe coast people" need them. No the hell we don't.

They said, we NEED them to feed us. OH REALLY? What the hell is wrong with these backward swamp dwellers? I mean, don't these doublewiders know that we can get food from the third world? The third world that their masters love sending American jobs to?

We have the coasts right? We can just sail our Liberal boats to get food from China and other asian places. New York can get it from Europe. Hell, put us down for some Freedom grapes.

I swear, themz southerners are stoopid.

2. Blue states need the red states like
A fish needs bicycle.

It's not red state tax dollars that prop up the blue states.

3. Well, a very sane friend of mine
who's been driven nearly insane by all that's happened has suggested that California, Oregon and Washington secede and then build a huge bridge around to the Northeast and New England, which can also secede, including Minnesota and Michigan. Hell, it may be half tongue-in-cheek, but I love it!

4. You got that right!
I've about had it with those bigot, rednecks running the table.

Why, again, are we supposed to put up with their stupidity?

Sick of it all.

This kind of post makes me want to say that we are in a dangerous time - where we can make the horrible division in our country better - or worse.
Yes, the repubes let Rush read the Newspaper for them. And yes we do seem to be more intellectual and claim to be a bit more evolved. But,
it is imperative that instead of boycotting Bush supporting businesses, or cutting off friends who do not agree with our politics, that we DO the uniting, after we got divided by the big ** non - uniter while we were not paying enough attention.

It is our job as the ones who do read the paper, and therefore are motivated to think, and who have a mind and a heart, to re-connect us. I realize this sounds elitist, but I don't know how to make it better.

10. Sorry, but I am not a "centrist"
and I am no longer going to support a party that has to continually subvert its own values to just "get along" with those whose ideas so diametrically oppose my own.

I don't, however, forget that in each of those red states were many loyal democrats who are NOT crazy rightwing nutz and I am glad that we share the same values - but I will NOT "go along to get along" with people who wouldn't think twice about lynching the nearest black person or burning the closest Jew.

I WILL boycott their businesses because that is my choice. I didn't get any tax-cut return this year but even if I had received one I still wouldn't spend it just to make corporate America even richer while the poor working folks on their payroll get minimum wages and no health care benefits.

Let THEM quit listening to Rush for awhile and begin to think for themselves and then maybe we can manage to communicate and get along but as long as they spout out his daily talking points, they will remain glued together in mind-controlled ignorance by Rush's hate-talk.

9. I see...
...so from your message, I see no differentiating between Liberals in the South, moderates in the South, or Republicans. According to what you have said, all people from the South are "bums" and "stoopid". Am I interpreting your message correctly, since it appears you did not segment your supposition. Please clarify.
