1. I heard it is normally a city of 300,000 but before this started "they"
thought it was down to 50,000 people.

3. Last I heard...
... it was around 300,000, but many residents have fled. I guess we won't know for a while how much they'll have to come home to....

4. According to Raed
<snip>
Falluja is "hell", as one of the residence of the small town put it today. The number of Falluja's inhabitants is between 250,000 and 300,000. Most of the articles and news say that around 200,000 left the city and are living in Ramadi, Baghdad, and in tents near the Habbanyya lake. The number of people inside the town is between 50,000 and 100,000. The estimated number of fighters is between 15,000 and 25,000 people, which is a really big number comparing to the small size of the town.

New entry today by the way.

6. Falluja is small town?
"The number of Falluja's inhabitants is between 250,000 and 300,000."
"...comparing to the small size of the town."

Falluja is a small town with both city limit signs on the same post, huh?

What else do we know to be true here?

Falluja sounds like a major city to me.

5. Wikipedia has it at 350,000
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallujah

good synopsis of current events there.

Author mentions troops had fired on demonstrators there and killed 15 before the 4 americans got hung on the bridge.
