Who should be the Party Chair (Any Clintonians out there?)
Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 03:39 PM by ledvader
Party Chairs Up for Grabs
So the GOP will have a new head, but how hard is that? Jump on top and just ride baby, ride. Now the Democrats have a more serious situation. The top candidates so far are Donna Brazile and Howard Dean, according to the latest news reports. Good choices?

For a party that is sorely in need of a win it's hard to get excited about the leader of an interesting, but far from successful run at the nomination and the director of a gimpy campaign that managed to lose the White House in 2000 (all vote counting craziness aside) despite being part of eight years of unmitigated prosperity.

Are there no Clinton people available? Didn't Kerry's campaign really right the ship after they added Sasso and Lockhart and others? Carville would be a horrible front-man (all apologies to the Ragin' Cajun' but I can't even understand him and I know tons of Louisianians), but can we get him as a lead strategist?

1. The current party chair was hand-picked by Clinton...
... and we all see how swimmingly he performed.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, ... won't get fooled again.

4. Joe Trippi?
Is Joe Trippi (or some other media-savvy outsider) an option? That would be my vote.
