And I never said they shouldn't be allowed to be published. I'm just pointing out that they exist. And regarding some good books we might want to read, there are posts about that every day.

Everyone here on DU knows about the "good" books because we discuss them and recommend them to each other. I figured it would be interesting to post about the books the other side is buying so that we know what we're dealing with (encouraging hastening the end times, discouraging college educations, etc.).

3. This sort of Shite has been around for years

Hal Lindsey, another Blow-Dried, Polyester wearing Asshole, authored books in the 1970s that pointed to the inescapable conclusion that the Soviet Union and Communist China were going to try and destroy Isreal, and thus start the battle of Armeggedon and that the world would not see the year 2000.

The books written since the 1960s on how the hippies are destroying our culture - AND - how we were going to doubtlessly sell out to the Soviet Union are legion. These same people are just making money the old fashioned way - they scare it out of rubes.

6. I think the difference between now and the 60's

is that they sell better now.

I think that's mostly due to the free advertising they get when the authors make appearances on hate radio, FoxNews, and stuff like that.
Channels that weren't available to these types of authors in the 60's.

7. the whole point

of the western world giving Israel to the Jews is because they need to be their for Jesus to come back. Right Wingers are taking the slow methodical aproach to death and destruction. They don't mind waiting a few years where as radical RIGHT WING terrorists do it in a matter of seconds. Right Wing Fundamentalists in this country are no diffirent than Right Wing Fundamentalists in the Arab world except we have better weapons and don't need to use suicide bombs. So we can kill innocent people humanely and in greater numbers than those terrorists can. But like Stalin said "One death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic."
