The Bush administration has lost control of the conversation
watch the TV ratings suck all of a sudden.

Basically they jumped the shark. They told a lie that was too big to pull off. They are now on their third excuse they are trying to sell us for the election that we supposedly "lost".

First it was "The kids didn't show up (oh you know those young kids - no responsibility)"

Next it was "Moral Values (Dems didn't support hatred and murder - they have no moral values, you know)"

Now it's "Kerry didn't court the women's vote"

Too many excuses to convince us of something that doesn't exist. We're the ones with moral values and awareness.

Face it people we're off the tracks. I think the true Bush base is only %30 trying to lead the majority on a lie. They thought we would accept the loss, but it just isn't working.

Is there ONE FUCKING CASE of any mistake being made in Kerry's favor?

Then they go and pull a stupid attack on a bunch of fighters who simply ran away to attack the invader when he isn't expecting. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.

They are sitting in the wings with their wildest dreams of dominionism which most of their voters don't even want. Just because you can deceive and scare a few people with the media does not mean that they want Christian Dominionism all of a sudden.

Like the old saying - careful what you wish for, you just might get it . Well, they got it. They've got a fake war. Rich oppressing the poor. Another 4 years to pillage, but frankly they don't know what to do with it. And everyone in the world is watching like a hawk.

Anyway, the point is they lost the zeitgeist and I think they are getting scared. The conversation is going on without them and it's all about them.

1. I hope you're right about this
The lies are coming fast -- sort of like the lies about the WMD.

I remember before the election posters to DU predicted that bush would do WHAT EVER IT TAKES to stay in the white house. So we should NOT be surprised that they will lie and murder and twist and psyop to keep the polls.

5. Ego and vanity consume the soul
they function on lies and they start believing their own lies. It's a phenomenon of human nature and it's nothing new.

8. you'd think they learn from the lies about iraq
they went from excuse to excuse about how to invake iraq, when the real reason was to get the oil

this is more of the some. excuse after excuse about why kerry "lost" when the real reason are the dieboldish machines.

9. They are really hating the "moral values" mandate talk. Bush wanted the
great commander-in-chief mandate. Now the narrative is, "Yeah the economy sucks and Bush screwed up big in Iraq, but he prays and will make abortion and gay marriage illegal."

10. Look - even if ALL of that is true...
I just dont see this playing out quickly...and to be sure they will have made extra double sure of any claims they will be making.

I think - if anything Kerry's quick concession and susequent silence will work in our favor...they will be more likely to drop their gaurd and fuck up somehow...thinking they got away with it...plus you have to give time for peoples concious to get to them...

At best we could have some proof and spend 4 years proving it...perhaps reducing Bush's entire second term to "lame duck" status...
