Al From of the DLC on CSpan now...repeating depressing stuff...
Just delivered the stats about how we've been in a 40 decline since Lyndon Johnson's landslide in 1964 with over 60% of the vote.
All the losses in margins in seats in Congress, governerships, etc.

In 1980 Dems had a 13 pt. lead in party identication...now it's 50-50 and who knows where it will go next...

1. Thanks Al...embracing free market economics, media concentration
and abandoning labor probably had a bit to do with it. The greatest decline in the party was under Clinton who was very much due to your org and your priorities. Thanks for the reminder of why no one thinks your opinion is relevant.
