My letter to TIME magazine

I sent this to TIME magazine today. Think it has any chance of getting published?

To the editor:

I take issue with Time's characterization of Southern Baptist Convention
leader Richard Land's agenda as "pro-life" (Winners and Losers, November
15). The Southern Baptist Convention was the only major religious
group to come out in support of Bush's Iraq war. Thus, they are partially
responsible for the death of over a thousand American soldiers and
countless Iraqi civilians.

How an agenda that supports preemptive, elective war is considered
"pro-life" is beyond me.

I really like that. Good use of language, something that they might print. Depends on if the Editor is a repug or a dem, pro-life or pro-choice.
I don't think ANY media can say they don't have some bias.

you nailed it- for the Pro-Lifers, the life of unwanted babies in our society begins at conception and ends at birth.
Then this thoughtlessly gets extended to all of the Arabs, all of the time.....
