Democratic Jiu Jitsu
In jiu jitsu, the defender uses the attackers strengths against them.

Back in the days when the world was young and Clinton was new, the Repugs and their buddies in the vast right wing media used his campaign pledge on gays in the military against him. Remember, how that was the first thing all the media wanted to hear about after he was sworn in? How that colored the rest of his term? How the rednecks afraid of their own sexuality were afraid that they'd succumb to homosexual advances? Well, they used our strength against us.

Well, I think now would be an excellent time to remind all the religionistas that the Repugs have held the White House, both house of Congress and a majority on the Supreme Court for at least 4 years now. And abortion is still legal, gays are still in the military, prayer is still outlawed in schools, the 10 Commandents are still barred from courthouses and other public buildings, guns are still registered and all the rest of the issues the religionistas care passionately about. None of these have been confronted head on by the repuke super majority.

It's time that we reminded them of the fecklessness of their beloved Repug leaders. It could backfire, and we could lose on all these issues. But, I think the repukes would back down on 99% of these, knowing the vast majority of the country are not supportive of them.

1. Actually
the vast majority do support these issues. People turned out in record numbers to vote for all of these issues. The Democrats I think will need to lose a few election cycles but actually take a stand and creat a real platform and vision of who they are.
