Swing-Staters: What's the weather going to do
in your state on Tuesday? Will it be a factor in voter turn-out? Good grief, now I'm looking for things to worry about!

1. Weather should be good in Iowa
I don't think it would make a difference if it weren't though. People are pretty determined this year.

16. So they're saying, but ...
unseasonably warm -- mid-fifties to sixty. Not sure if it'll be considered inclement enough to discourage anybody -- hope not! Big turnouts in Ohio usually benefit the Democrats, if conventional wisdom is to be believed.

3. Warm, mid 80's, 30% chance of rain in Florida
AND...Not a hurricane in sight,

However, there's a 100% chance of a shitstorm developing.

5. Since I consider Georgia a swing state---
40% chance of rain on Tuesday. I predict scattered showers. If this causes any voter suppression, it will help Dems because we are more motivated this time.

Let's get those Bush bastards!

It is dry as hell in UT, WY, MT, ND, SD, NE, KS... Bush states.

13. Scranton, PA weather for Tuesday
I sincerely HOPE that the people in Lackawanna County, go to the polls to vote because many people won't bother to go if it rains, PLUS, the fact that the new R county commissioners MOVED 30 voting sites to other places which might make it difficult for the elderly, people w/ small children, or those people who vote on their lunch hour, to go vote.
It's been said that the R always manage to get there.

Both Tuesday & Wednesday offer rain showers & clouds.

14. Me thinks it would be wise for the dems to spend some of that money
on umbrellas and sweatshirts. Also some kind of shelter, if possible, to help people in long lines. It's supposed to be chilly here in LA, too. I know the lines are going to be long as we do not permit early voting. It certainly won't dissuade me or my family from voting, but it certainly could others. Why do we not have a national holiday every four hears for the presidential election? I just don't get it. Commerce can't stop for one day every four years; and, yes, people should be paid for it, even or especially hourly workers.

17. NE PA - Rain
I don't care if we get 3 inches of rain, or snow for that matter, on Tueday. I will be voting. I have never failed to vote and this election will be no exception.
