OBL Tape: Who's behind it?

There are only three real possibilities:
1. It really is OBL (I don't think so, because I don't believe he was behind 9-11).
2. Rove is behind it as a set up for some kind of pre-election terror attack. (The October Surprise)
3. Anti Neo-con CIA who believe this can discredit Bush enough to cost him the election.

Do you see any other possibilites?

I can't pretend to know what he is trying to accomplish with it, but I think it was his. I certainly don't think it was Rove.

4. Osama is behind it, plain and simple

He's as much an attention whore as any politician.

He released this at this moment because he knew he would get attention.

If Rove & company already had the tape, don't you think they would have released it a few days ago to deflect attention from the explosives scandal?

You really give Rove too much credit. He *lost* the last election and he's going to lose this one. The only reason Bush is president is because James Baker saved his ass.

7. Uncomfortable

I was uncomfortable with the video/ tape, just did not seem like the real Bin Laden. First his beard looked fake, he gave incorrect information, he was in a studio setting, and too clean cut for someone who is in hiding. I smell something here and my dogs did not pass gas! Call it a woman's intuition, but something was not right, plus this is Shrub's 9/11 day. Geez, get me the clothespins. Perhaps I heard incorrectly, but he said a little girl was reading the My Pet Book and that there were 50,000 people not being helped by him. Something about him -- he was just too complacent. He made a real effort to knock Michael Moore, I think this is a dupe by? I don't know but something smells.
