18. "The people" won't even be able to understand it.
This is really sick! Only the FOX spin will be understood and Bush is relying on the FOX whores and Rush to explain it all to the sheep.

3. With luck, it will end up biting them in the butt.
Not many reporters there yet. I hope they pose some good questions.

7. Me too ...

It's so much so for me that I won't even take Bill Burkett's word after the Killian documents fiasco. All his claims are now suspect to me!!!!

I doubt it'll work on anyone else.

10. Of course they will.....
But at this point I think it's more about stopping the bleeding and giving their schills in the media a way to keep spinning this as anti-Kerry rather than anti-Bush. In which case it will work.

In order for it to not work we have to count on the media asking questions and doing their job. It would be very simple:

"Where are the weapons now".
"Who else was with you and how did you move 300 tons?"
"Isn't this illegal?"
"Why did you say they had been moved before the war?"
"Why did it take you so long to produce this guy and why in the meantime did you provide several different contradictory stories".

We all know the likelihood of this happening. Instead it will be spun as "THis looks bad for Senator Kerry."

12. I'm afraid you're probably right, vi5.
I'd love to think not, but the answer to my question, 'where the f*ck was this guy a few days ago, when this story hit the bricks?' is:

They were hiding him so the Kerry campaign would jump on the story, so they could whip him out at the last minute and claim Kerry was too hasty in criticizing them.

Will the sleazy garbage dump that the American fourth estate has become bother to ask the questions you mentioned? Who knows? I have to doubt it, as much other bullshit as they've let Bush* get by with.

Oh, and we'll find out they threatened this guy with a court martial for something else long about next Friday, after the media have hammered Kerry and glorified Bush* incessantly through the next couple of news cycles.

That's my fear, anyway -- that while unintentional, Bush*'s campaign trumped up somebody so they could make Kerry look bad for hopping into this one right off.

13. soooo... we moved and destroyed the bulk of the explosives
and failed to notify the IAEA? Well THAT would be pretty incompetent, wouldn't it? And then it took a couple of days to remember that we did that?

Riiiiiight.

14. I wish I could see the ignorant one glare at reporters.
Word is that every time a reporter has asked about the missing explosives, * says nothing and 'glares' at the reporter.

15. It's not meant to be believed.
It's meant to confuse, frustrate, and obfuscate. They don't care if anyone believes it or not; what they want is for people to get sick of the whole thing and tune it out. By the time the plodding media catch up to the truth, the election will be over.
